Your Intake call: What to expect.

As you can see from the title, this post is all about what you can expect from our first talk together.

When you call me for my services, I do what is called an intake phone call. This is an initial call that we have to establish expectations and to plan for the work that will need to be done during our time together. I wanted to give you an idea of what you can expect from me during this call.

When I first speak with you, I want to get an idea of what you are looking for from me. I would like to know your goals for asking for my services. If you are not completely sure of your goals, we can discover that together. The point of an intake is to figure out how we will work together and how I can best assist you with your needs.

I will also be asking you for information in regards to what your timeline is for your project (or projects). It’s important for us to look at the timeline that you have. This will dictate how much time we can spend on a specific project or if there are time constraints around what needs to be accomplished.

Any information that you think is helpful to give me will only help us more during our time together.

We will also be talking about your budget for the project along with some of your style preferences. This will give me a better idea of what to look for while researching for your project. I want to go in there with ideas that we can already bounce off of each other. You can find my rates on the Services page of my website!

I will be working closely with you to find what systems will work in your home. I would never want to create something for your home that won’t work for you. If a suggestion that I make will not work for you, let me know.
